Billy Bogiatzoglou aka Billelis is the source of some spectacular artistic inspiration this morning. A recent graduate of the University of Plymouth, the illustrator and director moved from Greece to study in the UK, during which time he discovered his passion and skill for digital art.
“I have spent countless hours experimenting, learning and expanding my Digital skill set in order to create a personal style that can be best described as a colourful graphical explosion. Equipped with an overactive imagination, my sketchbook and my beloved Wacom tablet I aim to be a distinct source of creativity.”
“My interest started while I was at University. I always drew and also graffitied in the past but through uni I discovered my love for the digital world. I initialy came from Greece to study here in the UK, mainly since I am half British. Initially I was studying a multimedia course that was intense on coding and such, but that wasn’t for me. I switched to a Digital Art course but still that was mainly web design based so I decided to work as hard as I could and complete the course while pursuing my own design interests. There are so many web designers in the industry but my intention was to make a name of my own due to my personal style.”
“My main aspirations are to become a successful designer, Art Director within an advertising/creative agency with an interesting portfolio fellow designers aspire to. I would also love to become a member of the art collective Depthcore. My main tools of creativity are Photoshop , Cinema 4D , my beloved Wacom cintiq and my sketch pad.”
“My style is a mix of 3D models and renders mixed with intense lighting effects and photo manipulation techniques ! I am also a massive fan of exceptional illustration and typography. I love the mix of tradional illustration sketchin and digital mixed media.”
